CYBER BULLYING BAN, local law F /passed
Resolution 305-a creating a First responder commission/ passed
Local Law F Cyber Bullying ban passed by 36 votes Monday 10 /8/2010 before the Albany County Legislature.
Legislator Brian Scavo said” My thanks to the many concerned parents and victims who spoke up for a law to protect our women and children and families from internet predators {CYBER BULLYS}.
We have in fact updated the law to protect Albany county residents from all forms of electronic harassment.”
Lawmaker Brian Scavo also said” Resolution 305-A , Establishing a First Responder Appreciation Program, this a major step forward in helping those first responders who lay their lives on the line, POLICE&FIREFIGHTERS, with additional benefits , such as discounts on goods and services at participating establishments and or establishing a first responder eligibility or preference for grants for home buying, educational grants , a twelve man commission to be set up,
at no cost to the taxpayers of Albany county!’
